On November 26, 2025, the 2025 Suzhou–Nantong Innovation Forum and Product Exhibition on Existing Building Renovation and Green, Low‑Carbon “Good Housing” Development, themed “Urban Renewal: Moving Toward Sustainability,” kicked off in Nantong. Huadong Coated Glass, a company deeply rooted in the advanced glass processing sector, was invited to attend and set up an on‑site booth, highlighting its flagship product—the long‑lasting sealed insulating 4SG glass. Co‑hosted by the Nantong Green Building Association and the Suzhou Building Energy Efficiency Industry Association, the event brought together leading professionals from the construction industry in both cities, as well as project managers involved in urban renewal initiatives, to exchange insights on innovations in green building technologies and the upgrading of existing structures. Key themes such as “energy conservation and carbon reduction,” “intelligent adaptation,” and “long‑term durability” emerged as frequent buzzwords, while the vision of “empowering green building upgrades through technology” resonated strongly with attendees.

At the exhibition, East China’s long‑lasting sealed insulating 4SG glass drew numerous visitors eager to learn more. Leveraging an innovative sealing technology, this product extends the service life of insulated glass several times over compared with conventional solutions. Coupled with its outstanding thermal insulation and heat‑retention performance, it effectively reduces building energy consumption, perfectly aligning with the conference’s theme of “Moving Toward Green.” This long‑life, energy‑saving glass not only meets the needs of retrofitting existing buildings for improved energy efficiency but also provides sustained, reliable energy‑saving support for the development of high‑quality housing.

During the thematic presentation session, topics such as “electrochromic smart glass” and “building energy‑saving and carbon‑reduction technologies” helped the East China Coated Glass team further clarify its strategic direction: long‑lasting sealed 4SG insulated glass not only meets the curtain‑wall requirements of newly built green residential buildings but also, through non‑destructive window‑replacement techniques, offers an efficient solution for the energy‑efficient retrofitting of older structures.
“Moving toward green” is not a short‑term initiative; long‑lasting, airtight, energy‑efficient glass is precisely designed to ensure that buildings maintain their energy‑saving performance over the long term. This conference not only helped more industry partners recognize the energy‑saving benefits of 4SG glass but also highlighted the pressing demand in both Suzhou and Nantong for such durable, energy‑efficient glazing in existing buildings and green residential developments. Going forward, we will continue to refine our products, injecting sustained green momentum into urban renewal efforts.
