On the afternoon of October 20, 2026, the first session of the ninth members’ congress of the Suzhou Architectural Metal Structure Association was successfully held. Representatives from member units, industry experts, and leaders from the competent authorities gathered at the venue to conduct the association’s leadership transition and election, thereby completing the renewal of the organization’s governing bodies. Zhang Genfang, General Manager of Suzhou Huadong Coating Technology Co., Ltd., attended the congress and participated throughout the deliberations and voting on the leadership transition.

This general election meeting was conducted in strict accordance with the Regulations on the Registration and Administration of Social Organizations and the Association’s Articles of Association. The meeting reported on the preparations for the leadership transition and adopted by vote the lists of scrutineers, vote counters, and vote announcers. Delegates carefully reviewed and approved the work report of the eighth board of directors, the financial work report, and the supervisory board’s work report, and deliberated and passed, item by item, key proposals including amendments to the Association’s Articles of Association, membership fee standards, the financial management system, and adjustments to the organizational structure. In compliance with the regulations, the meeting elected the ninth board of directors, the supervisory board, as well as the new president and vice presidents, and appointed the new secretary-general, thereby successfully concluding all agenda items related to the leadership transition.

Suzhou Huadong Coating Technology Co., Ltd. has been re-elected as a vice-president unit of the association, thanks to its many years of dedicated expertise in the field of architectural functional glass and its strong industry reputation.

For many years, Suzhou Huadong Coating, as a vice‑presidential member of the association, has actively participated in industry‑wide collaboration, proactively shouldered its responsibilities, and consistently advanced technological upgrades and standardized development in the fields of architectural curtain walls and metal structures.
