Recently, a technical exchange conference on the revision of the implementation rules for architectural safety glass certification and the updating of relevant standards was successfully held in Shanghai. The event focused on the latest national standard updates for architectural safety glass and the iterative changes to the CCC mandatory certification requirements, making it one of the most authoritative and professional technical forums in the architectural glass industry in East China. Zhang Genfang, General Manager of East China Coating Technology Co., Ltd., led a delegation to attend, participating in a full-day specialized training session on the new standards and gaining a precise understanding of emerging trends in compliant industry development.

   
 

This conference brought together leading architectural glass manufacturers from across East China, authoritative testing institutions, and seasoned industry experts to provide a comprehensive analysis and technical guidance on the latest industry compliance framework. Recently, the architectural safety glass sector has seen a series of key standards updated in rapid succession, including GB 46030‑2025, the revised GB/T 15763 series, and GB/T 11944‑2025—among other critical national standards. At the same time, the implementation rules for CCC mandatory certification have been updated, introducing new requirements for glass production quality control, product performance, and certification compliance. During the training session, industry-leading experts delved into the core pathways for quality improvement, offered solutions for addressing common aesthetic defects, and highlighted essential considerations for routine factory‑level quality‑control inspections, focusing on mainstream products such as tempered laminated glass, insulated glass, and fire‑resistant glass.

Throughout the conference, the East China Coating Team engaged in focused study and active dialogue, systematically reviewing the technical parameters of the new national standard, production specifications, and the updated regulatory guidelines for CCC certification. They gained a precise understanding of the key issues, challenges, and compliance risk areas introduced by the standard’s revisions.

Going forward, the company will seize this learning opportunity to swiftly translate its technological achievements into practical applications, conduct company-wide internal training, and fully implement the requirements of the new national standards and CCC certification.
